One Organization. Three Levels of Housing. One Recovery Continuum.

Pathway to Recovery is an income-based, recovery-first housing community. Our tiered housing continuum helps residents progress from substance use and mental health barriers to total independent living and financial stability.

Pathway welcomes graduates from every recovery program across the city. With the help of peer support and off-site mental health services, residents become contributing members of society, engaged parents, and even homeowners.

Lasting Recovery, Independence, and Financial Stability

Every donation helps more Indiana residents achieve:

  • Entry-level stabilization, Semi-independent, and Permanent housing
  • Recovery-first living
  • Substance abuse recovery
  • Employment and self-sufficiency
  • Life skills through holistic workshops and classes
  • Mental wellness through partner services
  • Eventual home ownership

I no longer live at Pathway. Today I have a place of my own, but I know without question that I would not be where I am today without it. I certainly would not be the person I’ve become.

What Makes Pathway Different

Pathway to Recovery is a three-tiered recovery-first housing continuum with mental health services available through our organizational partners. We help Hoosiers transition from homelessness and incarceration to long-term self-sufficiency and economic stability.

To ensure success, no one is turned away from our entry-level program, regardless of their ability to pay rent for their first six months. Many of our long-term residents become home owners after just three years in our permanent housing program.

Because our entire staff is in recovery, we understand the specific stigmas of early sobriety and how to safely remove these barriers for our residents. When people enter our doors, they become part of the Pathway family, with the support of our whole community behind them.

Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation; our residents enjoy weekly group activities, including sports, community service, holiday gatherings, job shadowing, resident and staff celebrations, and more.
