Permanent Recovery Housing in Indianapolis
Our permanent recovery housing program is designed for men, women, and their families who’ve demonstrated a year or more of drug recovery, rent history, and gainful employment.
At this stage, our residents become fully independent, contributing members of society. Our permanent housing serves as a stepping stone to home ownership—on average, it takes as little as three years to achieve this important milestone.
If you’re currently experiencing homelessness, substance use, or mental health barriers, or you’ve been sober for less than one year, you may be a better fit for our entry-level or semi-independent housing programs.

Pathway-4, 5, 6, and 7 make up our permanent housing programs. At this stage, residents build the life skills they need to achieve long-term recovery, financial independence, and even home ownership. Residents repair their relationships with family and friends, taking accountability and making way for deeper purpose and meaning.
Located in the Mapleton-Fall Creek area, this facility provides housing for # individuals who are ready for independent living.
Situated in the Watson-McCord neighborhood, this program serves # families reunited after recovery. It offers a safe environment for both parents and children to thrive together.
Located in the Crown Hill neighborhood, this #-unit facility serves both individuals and families.
Nestled on Pathway’s Mapleton-Fall Creek property, our newest facility features 21 units and gated parking. Residents enjoy on-site laundry and a community center that hosts classes and events focused on skills-building, career development, and holistic healing.
Permanent Housing Admission Criteria
Applicants must be:
- 18 years or older
- Graduated from a Substance Use Recovery Program
- Able to sign a one-year renewable lease
- Able to pay the first month’s rent and security deposit
And maintained one year of:
- Sobriety
- Mental health treatment plan
- Stable employment and reliable income
- Rent payment history
- Participation in a 12-step recovery program

If you meet the admission criteria and are interested in joining our permanent housing program, please submit a completed application. Eligible applicants may be contacted to schedule an interview based on program availability. Interviews are required before admission into the program.
