Mission, Vision & Purpose
Our Mission

Pathway helps homeless Hoosiers overcome addiction and mental health disorders to become substance-free, stable, self-sufficient individuals housed within a multi-tiered, income-based program. Pathway and its residents thrive in a peer-driven model creating a complete continuum of care under one organizational umbrella.

Our Vision

Pathway to Recovery is the recognized leader in providing holistic quality care and housing for people with addictive and mental disorders. We facilitate total recovery through collaborative partnerships and a continuum of care. Pathway optimizes available resources to provide participants with the opportunity for a productive, addiction-free life.

Why Our Mission Matters

Homelessness, substance use, and mental health challenges often overlap. When housing and support are fragmented, people can become caught in repeated cycles of crisis and instability.

Pathway to Recovery addresses those needs together by combining substance-free supportive housing in Indianapolis with recovery support, mental health resources, employment goals, and a peer-driven community that helps residents build a sustainable path forward.

Safe, Supportive Housing

Stable, substance-free environments give residents a foundation for recovery and the next stage of independent living.

Recovery & Peer Support

A peer-driven community provides encouragement, accountability, and practical support for long-term recovery.

Mental Health Resources

Residents are connected with mental health resources and referrals that complement housing and recovery support.

Help Create a Path Forward

Support from donors, volunteers, community partners, and neighbors helps Pathway provide supportive housing and recovery resources for Hoosiers working toward lasting independence.
